NILES - Bob ''Lucky'' Luckage, 50, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, Nov. 4, 2009, at his home.

Bob was born Nov. 6, 1958, in Youngstown, the son of Richard and Dorothy Hosler Luckage, and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a 1977 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and was the manager of the Villa Arms Motel in Niles for the past 22 years. He had also worked for Bliss Manufacturing for a time.

Bob loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle, was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings, enjoyed dining out and especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family and many friends.

Mr. Luckage leaves his mother, Dorothy of Austintown; three brothers, Rick Jr. (Erika) of New Waterford, Rex (Debbie) of Austintown and Eric (Nydia) of Columbus; a sister, Sherry (Bruce) Carothers of Lordstown; nieces and nephews, Richard Luckage III, Haley Luckage, Dawn Luckage, Isabella Luckage, Joshua Kollat, Kendra Braham, and Dylan Kollat; his longtime companion, Briget Brahler of Mineral Ridge; his stepmother, Gretchen Selikson Luckage of Austintown; and two stepbrothers, Brad Lude of Salem and David (Susan) Lude of Wilmington, N.C.

His father, Richard Sr., passed away May 11, 2009.

Lucky will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road in Youngstown.

Funeral services will take place at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Brunstetter Cemetery in Austintown.
