WARREN - Asburry P. Russell, 90, 2438 Palmyra Road, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Asburry was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Scotia, S.C., a son of Asburry and Josephine Russell.

He was retired from the City of Autaugaville, Ala., and was of Baptist faith.

Survivors include son, Earl Russell of Clinton, Md.; daughters, Jacqueline Hall and Linda L. Russell, both of Warren, Josephine Flood of Scotia and Joyce Russell; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was daughter, Marie Underwood, two brothers and four sisters.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Sibley-Murray Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends at 1793 Deerfield Ave.
