YOUNGSTOWN - Powell E. ''Bud'' Burrows, 84, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
He was born May 20, 1925, in Youngstown, a son of Ellis and Leona Powell Burrows.
He worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation and was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves two daughters, Darlene M. Burrows Ponzi of Rossford and Norene A. Burrows of Youngstown; a son, Richard P. Burrows of Mineral Ridge; two sisters, Violet Thomas of Boardman and Roslyn Gould of Youngstown; a brother, Robert Burrows of Hubbard; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary T. Sheridan Burrows, two sisters and two brothers.
Services will be noon Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, where friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. to noon Monday.
