POLAND - Guy Roger Ascione, 70, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 8, 2009, at his residence.

He was born March 7, 1939, in Youngs-town, the son of Thomas Joseph and Edith Jane Sebben Ascione.

Guy retired from Compco Industries as a high lift operator. He was a member of Poland United Methodist Church.

Guy is survived by his wife, Doris E. Hileman; five children, Lisa Marie Ascione of North Ridgeville, Tia Marie Landsberger of Lowellville, Michael S. of Struthers, Connie Hileman of Boardman and Ronald Hileman of Warren; a brother, Donald of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
