The Ladies of the Highway Riders will host a FUN RUN fundraiser at noon with registration at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dennison Deelite, 2185 Parkman Road, Warren, to raise support and resources for the victims of domestic violence. The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County is participating in the ANIMAL RESCUE SITE $100,000 Challenge. Communities can help the animal shelters by voting online each day through July 26 at www.theanimalrescuesite.com by clicking on the free food button at the top of the page. At the top of the next page, click on "Vote Now," then type in Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, and then Ohio and finally, verify the vote. Each click will equal .6 bowls of food to rescued animals. The votes will determine which animal group will receive special funds. One vote can be made a day per person. Grand prize is $20,000. The 11th annual MOUNT CARMEL ITALIAN FESTIVAL will be held July 23 to 26 in Youngstown. The festival includes a scholarship breakfast, parade and entertainment. Christ Episcopal Church will hold its third annual HEAVENLY HACKERS GOLF OUTING Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church. The Young Leaders Advisory Board of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society will sponsor the third annual HISTORY ON TAP: "Hot Nights, Cool Delights" on Saturday with food, live music by the Second Avenue Band, and a sampling of art and culture of the Valley.
