WARREN - Ruth E. Davis, 75, of Warren, died at 8:32 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 2, 1933, in Warren, a daughter of the late John and Daphne Graham Sharlock.

Ruth was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting and was an avid sports fan.

Survivors include her husband, Robert I. Davis, whom she married Oct. 17, 1953; one daughter, Lori (Jerry) Utley of Champion; three sons, Daniel (Paula) Davis of Champion, Robert G. Davis of Avon, Ill., and Leonard A. (Theresa) Davis of Howland; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Seelen of St. Paul, Minn.

Other than her parents, Ruth, was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and John Sharlock; one sister, Mary Jane Thirion; and one great-granddaughter.

The funeral service will take place 10 a.m. Saturday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Champion Township Cemetery.
