Marie A. Edwards 1923-2009

NEW BEDFORD, Pa. - Marie A. Edwards, 86, of New Bedford, Pa., died Monday, June 15, 2009, at Pembrook Place.

She was born March 16, 1923, in Hubbard, a daughter of Ralph and Angeline Pratt Perline.

She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Christian Center, Lowellville, and the Barnstone Ministry in New Bedford.

Survivors include three sons, Dave Pittinger of New Bedford, Jack Edwards of New Bedford and Bursy ''Butch'' Edwards Jr. of Poland; four daughters, Deanna Findley of Lorain, Helen Harrold of New Castle, Pa., Linda Doyle of Kansas and Janet Petronek of Lowellville; two sisters, Theresa Knebel and RoseAshman Capezzuto, both of Hubbard; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bursy L. Edwards, and six brothers and three sisters.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Victory Christian Center.

Family and friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.
