BOARDMAN - Dorothy M. Rossi, 88, of Boardman, died early Thursday morning, May 21, 2009, from an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 1, 1920, in Oratino, Campobasso, Italy, a daughter of Michael and Angelina Tirabasso Fatica.

She was a member of St. Charles Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Anita Ward, a granddaughter and a great-grandson, all of Boardman; and a sister, Florence Iafelice of Willoughby Hills.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter A. Rossi, and an infant brother.

Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, Boardman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Church, Boardman.

Entombment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield.
