MASURY - Agnes Bremick, 94, passed away at 4:55 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, in O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center in Masury.
Agnes was born Jan. 24, 1915, in Stanaford, W.Va. the daughter of the late John and Anna (Baca) Hydella and moved to the area in 1940.
Agnes was a homemaker and a former member of Sharon Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, sewing, canning and taking care of her plants around her home. Agnes was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Agnes was married to Victor Bremick on July 25, 1931, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1997.
Agnes is survived by three sons Fred D. (Lori) Bremick of Louisville, Ky.; Ernie A. (Jo Ann) Bremick of Hubbard and Don J. Bremick of Masury; two daughters-in-law, Jackie Bremick of Warren and Jeannette Bremick of Girard; 10 grandchildren, Brian Bremick, Mark Bremick, Scott (Shannon) Bremick, Beth Ann (Jon) Grimmett, Tara (fiance Bill Kovach) Bremick, Carrie (Bob) Light, Janene (Ken) Oyler, Julianne (Tad) Jablonski, Jeff Bremick and James Bremick; five great-grandchildren, Tristen Bremick, Victoria Bremick, Malerie Oyler and twins Jillian and Payton Light; and a special friend Peter Nemetz of Phoenix.
Besides her parents and husband, Agnes was preceded in death by two sons, John G. and Richard Lee Bremick; two brothers, Joseph Hydella and Ernest Linko and a sister, Elizabeth Brown.
Calling hours will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Madasz Chapel, Brookfield.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where friends also may call a half hour before the service.
Burial will take place in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
