NILES - Harry D. ''Nick'' Nicholson, 63, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at the Renaissance North Health Care Center.

He was born March 12, 1945, in Connellsville, Pa., the son of the late Harry Nicholson and the late Emma Keifer Nicholson.

Harry married Patricia Holtzer on June 24, 1967.

He was employed at Packard Electric for more than 30 years, working on many of the various machines. He was a veteran, having served in the Army.

Harry enjoyed fishing, bingo and playing cards.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia; daughter, Christine Nicholson of Niles; son, Mark Nicholson of Niles; daughter, Bonita Wettgen of Connellsville, Pa.; brother, George Nicholson of Niles; sister, Nancy Nicholson of San Francisco; he also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, William Nicholson, Norman Nicholson and Donald Nicholson; and two sisters, Betty Nicholson and Ruth Cavailer.

A service with military honors will be held for Harry at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home at 6 p.m. Tuesday, where the Rev. Wayne L. Sherman will officiate. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
