WARREN - John C. Rebhan II, 64, of Warren died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
He was born April 28, 1944, in Warren, the son of John C. and Fannie (Barber) Rebhan, and had lived in the Warren area all his life.
Mr. Rebhan served in the Marine Corps Reserves and was owner of Warren Fabricating & Machining Corporation and Ohio Steel Sheet & Plate. A lover of the ocean, he had raced boats as well as stock cars. He also enjoyed flowers, animals, art and most of all, his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his mother, Fannie Rebhan of Warren; two children, Eric J. Rebhan of Hubbard and Regina M. Rebhan (Michael Pontikos) of Howland; a daughter-in-law, Mary ''Cookie'' Rebhan Smith of Houston; five grandchildren, Taylor, Alec, and Bailey Pontikos, and Gabriella and Alexa Rebhan; a sister, Linda Volk of Warren; a nephew, Aaron Volk; a grandnephew, John Volk; and his former wife, Susan Rebhan of Warren.
Preceding him in death are his father and a son, Jeffrey A. Rebhan.
At the family's request, calling hours and services are private. Entombment will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park. Material contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
