Charles Dellinger, 1931-2008

RIVERVIEW, Fla. - Charles Dellinger, 77, of Riverview, Fla., and formerly of Warren, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, in Riverview following a brief illness.

He was born Feb. 26, 1931, the son of Frank and Catherine R. Shade Dellinger.

Mr. Dellinger was a self-employed mechanic/body shop and paint shop owner.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Mr. Dellinger is survived by two sons, C.J. Dellinger at home and Jeffery L. Dellinger of Lakeland, Fla.; three daughters, Valery K. Graffuis of Akron, Catherine Jane Dellinger of Georgia and Rhonda Dellinger of Florida; a brother, Fred Dellinger of Southington; and six sisters, Margaret Bloom of West Middlesex, Pa., Helen Thellman of Boardman, Mildred Elias of Monticella, Ga., Roseanne Jones of Florida, Caroline Hughes of Fowler and L. Jane Dellinger of Dandridge, Tenn.

Cremation has taken place at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Riverview, Fla.
