Noreen L. Mendenhall 1938-2008

BRISTOLVILLE - Noreen L. Mendenhall, 70, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 23, 1938, in Warren, the daughter of the late James Maurice Kane and the late Helen Irene Slobodnik Kane.

Noreen loved the Cleveland Indians and the Howland Tigers. She also enjoyed playing cards, scrapbookings, and especially loved spending time with her family and her beloved pets, Pooh and Joey.

In addition to her husband, Richard Mendenhall, whom she married July 25, 1955, Noreen is survived by her son, Richard (Anne) C. Mendenhall of Olmsted Township; daughters, Debra (Robert) Simmerly of Niles, Becky (Anthony) Manno of Niles, Renee (Michael) Rushin of Howland and Kimberly Mendenhall of Warren; brothers, Joseph (Lynette) Kane of Leavittsburg and Patrick (Eileen) Kane of Leavittsburg; sisters, Margaret Kane of Lakewood and Mary (Chuck) Webb of Kinsman; 11 grandchildren, Lisa, Shalee, Gia, Jessica, Ali, Kyle, Haley, Richie, Marty, Kameron and Kody; three great-grandchildren, Alivia, Dawson and Nicholas; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two half-brothers, Raymond and James; and a half-sister, Charlotte.

Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kelly Burd officiating. Friends may call from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
