WARREN - Willie B. Jones, 91, of 1003 Hemlock Ave. S.W., died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, in Autumn Hills Care Center, Niles, following a long illness.
He was born June 15, 1917, in Opelika, Ala., the son of Carey and Priscilla Graham Jones.
He retired as a laborer from Republic Steel Corp., and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Willie R., Lawrence and Donald Jones of Warren; a daughter, Rosetta Priest of Warren; a sister, Annie Mae Jones of Opelika, Ala.; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie L. Hughley Jones, a son, four sisters and three brothers.
Services will be at noon Monday at Friendship Baptist Church, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 2465 Risher Road, the home of his son, Lawrence.
