HOWLAND -- A Basswood Avenue N.E. mobile home was destroyed after it caught fire Friday morning while the residents were out of town on their honeymoon.
While the fire is still under investigation, some pets, including a parrot, died in the blaze.
Howland and Bazetta fire departments responded to the fire, reported about 10:15 a.m.
According to W.M. Dorsey, the homes owner and a friend of its residents, the couple living there are returning from their honeymoon today after being married last week.
