Warrant -issued in bar slaying
Witnesses say brawl led to shootingTribune Chronicle
YOUNGSTOWN - An arrest warrant has been issued for a Saturday shooting that left one man dead and three women injured.
The warrant was issued Sunday for Jason Delgado, 25, who is wanted in the death of Ricardo P. Moctezuma, 25, 1154 Burlington Ave. The two men had an argument early Saturday morning at the El Tropical bar, 1666 Poland Ave, according to police.
According to police reports, officers found a shirtless Moctezuma in the parking lot of the East Side bar with blood coming from his head. Paramedics later pronounced Moctezuma dead at the scene.
Police say staff inside the bar were trying to usher the two men outside when the shooter threw a bottle across the room, wounding one of the women.
Witnesses told investigators that the suspect from the bar jumped a fence then returned with a gun and began firing. The gunman was described as being between 22 and 28 years old, with black braided hair, jean shorts and a green T-shirt. Following the shooting, the man fled into a green Ford Expedition or a green Chevy Tahoe, police said.
Three women also were injured in the shooting. Cynthia McIntyre, 32, was shot in the back and transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where she was listed in stable condition Sunday night. Police found McIntyre bleeding from her lower back with another woman at the bar trying to comfort her.
Bartender Liz Irizarry, 23, was treated and released from St. Elizabeth after suffering a gunshot wound to the right upper arm, police said.
Jennifer Sanchez, 32, was cut when the beer bottle was thrown across the bar. She was taken to the hospital by her brother, treated and released.
Moctezuma's death is the city's 18th homicide for the year.

Wow, even if they catch and try him. He'll probably only get 5-7 years because this is Youngsotwn we're talking about. Most lenient court system in the nation.
