The forecast seems just right for the rest of the Trumbull County Fair.
Those involved, from visitors to organizers, survived Tuesday's storm that knocked out power, capsized trailers and wrecked tents. The sunshine returned Wednesday, the weather today is supposed to be even better, and more of the same is in store for the weekend.
The annual agricultural extravaganza is making a bigger splash this year with the scheduled performance of popular country music artist Tracy Lawrence on Sunday. Lawrence's act is followed by fireworks which will conclude the nearly week-long series of events that includes a parade, car races, livestock auctions, a demolition derby, a horse show, rides and fair food.
Hopefully everyone will make the Tribune Chronicle's photo sharing Web site, cu.tribtoday.com, a part of their fairgoing experience.
The Tribune Chronicle is again making itself a large part of the fair. The CU Web site will continually provide the latest fair images for the world to see. Fairgoers can enter the site to see themselves or their friends, order photos or other collectibles with pictures on them, or post their own photo galleries. The pictures can become souvenirs. They can become presents. They can be turned into awards. The images that CU photographers capture can be turned into prints or posters, screens on T-shirts, imprints on baseballs and pictures on mugs or other items such as mouse pads.
Those residing out of town who are unable to attend the fair can have the fair brought to them via CU. Of course, many from out of town make an annual trek to visit the fair in person.
Those attending the festivities can visit the Tribune Chronicle tent and observe the latest photographs on a flat-screen slide show that is updated periodically every day.
CU has connected people in the community since its inception last year. This includes all the folks in our agricultural families.
Another advantage to joining this Internet community is that there is a virtually unlimited amount of space to store pictures in their electronic form. You can take advantage of that to manage your Fair portfolio.
Whether you attend the fair in person or enjoy it through Tribune Chronicle coverage, eventually we'll CU, and sometimes when you least expect it.
