Park to offer outdoor game

Mosquito Lake State Park in Bazetta will have a NEOS PLAYGROUND ELECTRONIC GAME available for the public Saturday through Monday for Memorial Day. Anyone wanting to be a sponsor can call the park office at 330-637-2856.

The YWCA Warren, in collaboration with Inspiring Minds and Fresh Oil, will host the 2008 UNITY GAMES from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the YWCA, 375 N. Park Ave., Warren. UNITY stands for Unique New Ideas Targeting Youth. Competitive events include basketball and volleyball tournaments and relay races. The event is free and open to the public. First United Methodist Church of Mineral Ridge, 3711 state Route 46, will hold a TRASH AND TREASURE SALE from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch will be available.

The Trumbull County Kennel Club and the New Castle and Butler Kennel Clubs will hold a DOG SHOW starting each day at 8 a.m. from Thursday to Monday at the Lawrence County Farm Show Grounds off Route 108 in New Castle, Pa. A different show is planned each day. More than 100 breeds of dogs will be featured. There is a small fee for parking.
