Brookfield to hold memorial service

Brookfield Township firefighters, auxiliary members and police will hold their annual MEMORIAL SERVICE honoring deceased members at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the fire hall, 774 N. state Route 7. Refreshments will be served.

BROOKFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the township administration building off Strimbu Drive.

The Trumbull County Fair Board is seeking interested groups and organizations to volunteer PARKING CARS and directing traffic during the fair July 7 to 13. Those interested can call the fair board office at 330-637-6010 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday.

The Garden Angels group at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2053 North Road N.E., Howland, is holding a PLANT SALE from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. All the plants are perennials at $5.

Briarfield at the Ridge, 3379 Main St., Mineral Ridge, will hold a VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the cafe. A light dinner will be served. Those interested in volunteering can call 330-652-9901.
