3 p.m.: Ohio House to begin impeachment process if Dann doesn't resign

Tribune Chronicle
POSTED: May 5, 2008

The Ohio House will begin impeachment Tuesday if Atty. Gen. Marc Dann does not resign by that time, state Rep. Sandra Harwood, D-Niles, said. It will vote on the articles of impeachment by resolution, she added.

That decision was made Monday afternoon in a telephone conference among the Ohio Democratic Caucas, she added.

“I don’t know how he can be effective,” Harwood said of Dann’s continued determination to hold onto office. “We’ll know more by tonight.’’

She noted that the attorney general was a former member of the Mahoning Valley’s state legislative delegation.

“I’m very angry and disappointed he’s given this valley another black eye,” Harwood said. “I’m very angry about this.”

People like Marc Dann think they are above the law. They think rules and laws don't apply to them. Besides they are so full of themselves, that they think they are better than the rest us. He has given his office and the state a black eye!!!!

I agree, the man needs to resign.....what point is he trying to make in not doing so?
