Cathy A. Reihard-Tenney 1955-2008

WARREN — Cathy A. Reihard-Tenney, 52, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in the intensive care unit of Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital from complications following surgery.

Cathy was born Oct. 9, 1955, in Warren, the only daughter of Emmitt E. and Patricia A. McDonald Reihard.

Cathy was a 1973 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, and retired after 30 years from General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.

Cathy was a member of Army Navy Garrison 283 in Warren and the Humane Society, and enjoyed baking, gardening and camping. Cathy was a lover of animals.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Melvin D. Tenney, whom she married Aug. 25, 2001; her mother, Pat A. Reihard of Mineral Ridge; a son, Emmitt ‘‘Rick’’ (Michelle A.) Davis of Mineral Ridge; a brother, Terry Reihard of Mineral Ridge; a niece, Heather Reihard of Deltona, Fla.; a nephew, Aaron Reihard of Newton Falls; five stepchildren, Donna DeVitto, Renee Lough, Michael Tenney, Mary Ann Spencer and Donald Tenney; her best friend, Judy Wolfe of Warren; and her special companion, ‘‘Lucy.’’

Cathy was preceded in death by her father April 5, 2007.

There will be a funeral service 7 p.m. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
