She was born Feb. 18, 1927, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Antoinette Fabrizio Santino.
She was a caring and loving person, with many talents, and was a consummate homemaker and cook. She was a woman of simple pleasures, enjoying the company of her family and friends the most.
She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church of the Byzantine Rite.
She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends and yet loved forever.
Survivors include her husband, James, whom she married Oct. 29, 1955; three daughters, Jeanne (James) Wall of Howland, Mary Ann (Dean) Martin of Warren and Linda (Mike) Augustine of Howland; 10 grandchildren, Antoinette ‘‘Toni,’’ Alex, Steven, her namesake Anna Marie and Gina Wall, Bobby, Matt and Zack Martin and Michael and Amanda Augustine; a great-granddaughter, Charlotte; a sister, Lucy (Peter) Suszczynski of Struthers; and a sister-in-law, Betty Santino of Hubbard. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Adeline ‘‘Lolly’’ Galanses; and two brothers, James and Benjamin J. Santino.
A Funeral Divine Liturgy will be 10 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter & Paul Church of the Byzantine Rite, with the Rev. Robert Karl officiating. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where a prayer service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Howland Township Cemetery.
A ‘‘little’’ angel came to Earth one day. She brought us love, smiles, lessons, then went away. Thank you God for our angel who has gone away.
