Grace Pellegrim 1913-2008

MINERAL RIDGE — Grace Angeline Pellegrim, 94, formerly of Warren, died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Briarfield at the Ridge in Mineral Ridge.

She was born April 30, 1913, in Grays Landing, Pa., the daughter of Joe and Josephine Vasta Angelo, moving to Warren in 1938.

Mrs. Pellegrim took pride in her home and homemaking. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and flowers, especially African violets.

Surviving are a daughter, Ann Marie Pellegrim of New York City; a son, Fred (Mary Ellen) Pilgrim of Warren; two granddaughters, Suzanne (Gary) Myers of Howland and Lisa Angelo of Warren; and three great-grandchildren, Allison Myers, Victoria Angelo and Nicole Angelo.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Louis Pellegrim; four sisters, Mary Buttice, Sophie Orfin, Lucille Lewis and Helen Angelo; and three brothers, Mike, Chuck and Jim Angelo.

Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Crumbley of St. James Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
