Something doesn't seem right here. Police had been called to this residence before, concerning the children. Was there child abuse going on? And, yes, the child could have ingested something toxic, or forced to ingest. There is more about this that needs to be investigated. May the innocent child rest in peace and he will be comforted by GOD's love, in case he didm't get his parents love. Of course they always love their kids way after a tragedy and if they feel they could be implecated.

I would find a Tox exam to pretty routine on a kid. What if he/she swallowed household cleaners?

anniemae, they do a tox screen on all deaths that are considered suspicious. And, before anyone jumps all over me, any death of a year old is usually considered suspiscious.

You are appalled by a toxicology report? Did it ever occur to you that they're checking to see if the child may have ingested some medication or substance causing his death? Why are you trying to blow something so routine out of proportion and attempting to sensationalize it?

toxicology on a 7 year old is something that is not a shock! look at these kids today... there are 3YO's with cell phones 5 year olds doing whatever they please ... come on now get with the times ... and who knows he could have ingested something toxic ... everything has a warning label anymore

:( I can't imagine what the parents are going through. Unresponsive could mean a number of things. My deepest condolances go out to the family of this child. I pray people don't assume something based on this little bit of information. He could have had a seizure, a stroke, a heart attack, he could have fallen and bumped his head while playing. Toxocology reports are going to find out *how* he died. Please be kind when the information is so vague.... at least until there is more information to disclose. This is just heartbreaking.
