Loved the idea of GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED HEALTH CARE, aka Obamacare? Worked for it, voted for those who passed it without reading it? HA HA HA. It's now biting you in the hind end too. Your plans are being cancelled, your rates are skyrocketing. We Conservatives TOLD YOU SO.

Very well stated, Dr. Agana. The American public is only seeing the detrimental results of the individual mandate. Just wait until the employer mandate (which OBAMA knew would KILL the DEMS in 2014) cancels corporate Americans insurance policies.

Daniel has to be a purposefully heckler/instigator, there's just no way someone could believe such garbage.

Family & Abe, truthful, legitimate comments; too bad the sheep on here tow the party line to a fault. I often wonder if they really believe what they post, or are they so indoctrinated that they do so out of sublime homage to their liar-in-chief.

Lots of trash talk from people who do not demonstrate the ability, merit, capacity, determination, willingness to incur astronomical debt, or the willingness to work grueling hours to serve humanity.

Which of you bozos will be qualified to step in and replace the departing professionals?

You can get all the subsidized insurance you want but it will do you no good if there are no professionals left to see you in a timely manner.

And is Obamacare helping to promote private family doctors, is the government providing funds to help increase the no. of doctors?

Now by the time they finish with all the schooling they are at the average age of 30....this means that their earning time table is significantly reduced by 10 or more years.....these doctors are still paying off loans and if they open a private practice they become responsible for maintaining a payroll and all other overhead costs. from where I'm sitting one of two things is going on here.,,either you're simply jealous of these people who made sacrifices for years to be at the top of their profession and earned the right to make a living or you for whatever ego trip you may be on feel it is your right for other people to go into debt just to service YOUR needs...oh and btw according to theCBO 30million will STILL be uninsured after all is said and done with the ACA.

I find it amazing that the comments on here are reduced to those who have become self appointed "gods" who somehow in their smug self important moral superiority think that know what's best for everyone simply because they say so..,,for example you blithely accuse this doctor if selling out without considering facts or background of her situation....let me give you a few facts so you people can get up to Speed ........the average medical doctor comes out of medical school after 4yrs owning upwards of 280,000.00 in school loans this does not include the 4yrs of undergrad and the 90,000.00 in school loans that they also need to pay for....than It's off to residence programs which can run from 2to 4 years depending on the specialty. The average resident works 90hrs per week making 42,000.00a year....out of this 42,000the are making enormous monthly student loan payments and also malpractice insurance on top of their daily living costs including rent car utilities food car insu

I think this is one of the few letters to the editor that Agana has wrote that I agree with. I think the number I saw of top hospitals that won't be accepting ACA was 11 out of 18. Including Cleveland Clinic. Guess they must just be greedy ***holes also. Weird, about 10 years ago my mother in law got a quadruple bypass from Cleveland Clinic, with no insurance, and never received a bill, guess those days are over geniuses. Good luck. People want something for nothing so bad, they will get the exact opposite.

The ACA (Obamacare) is not about health care received rather insurance or third party administrators (much like Medicare Advantage plans vs standard Medicare) controlling the monies. I am not a fan of the ACA approach as it bundles all Americans, and illegals; much like car and home owners into a single pooled category. That increases revenues (premiums) and reduces cost (payments for health care). That said, it appears the Tea Party doctor has sold out as she quits her practice to join corporate medicine. She obviously is in the wrong county and should be in the Franklin /Columbiana counties to continue her obvious political ambitions. The doctor may one day be adjudicating your health care monies either in medicine or politics - God forbid.

Is this the same Dr. Agana who ran for the Congressional seat in this district as a Tea Party Republican? Seems as though she decided to get out of practicing medicine a while ago.

She's just mad because healthcare costs are going to be reasonable under the ACA, and she won't be able to make her million dollar a year salary anymore by overcharging her patients.

Wow! and I thought Doctors took an oath to preserve life? Well, Obviously not all of them. So if you read between the lines this doctor wanted 30 million people to die and die quickly because they infringed on her profit margin. Well, Chalk up another doctor that exposed themselves as one not worthy of taking your pet toad to.
