there is no excuse for it taking so long for that poor kid to get medical attention!!,first responders know more than just first aid, they had cpr,aed and als trainging. That includes but not limited to cops firemen, nurses, etc. I can see a lawsuit coming out of this one, just wait, as far as that goes the cops could have put him in the car or gave someone an escort to the hospital, there was more than enough officers to secure the scene. And again with the emt's unprofessional-ism,isn't that the same girl that was at the risher shooting, someone seriously needs to reprimand her on her "shop talking" at crime scenes. one problem is warren needs ambulances with a much higher response time and they need to be equipped with paramedics. in situations like this seconds count!! all this in the city is getting more ridiculous by the minute!!!

Lord forbid if you don't wait for the EMT's because if you throw the person in the car and speed like crazy to get the hospital you know a cop will try and pull you over and taze you for speeding. Or better just shoot you for not complying. SO what do you do? Wait the 10 mins for an ambulance or risk dealing with the police who won't want to listen to your problems? In the old days you could tie a white rag on the outside of your car and go. I don't even think todays cops know about that anymore.

Even if it was drug related no one deserves to get killed. We don't know why it happen and we never will i am sure. But what ever the reason is it should not of happened. There is to much of that kind of behavior going on. What happen to the old days when two people went out in the middle of the road or parking lot and just beat the*****out of each other without knives and guns? You wanna be a thug then be an old fashion thug and be a man and use your fist not a fking gun or knife. For real. Want to shoot to kill go to the service and be on the front line.

I believe that all the medic companies we have should be on call for the 911 system. That way there will be enough medics to take care of issues like that. I also agree why didn't them people put him in the van and drive him to the hospital? If it was just a robbery then why kill him? I agree i think walker thought he was apart of what happen to his brother and was getting even. The cops are the one that killed walker not rollison. All this crime is beyond acceptable.

I agree with many of you it does take the medics forever to respond. A friend of mine called the medics on sunday for her brother and the 911 lady told her to call a cab or get a car they were not picking her brother up because of where she lived. Well her brother died. WTF is wrong with this city and the 911 system. It took forever for the medics to come for my mom when she was not breathing and she to ended up dying in my arms in her bedroom on her floor. As far as the Mayor it is time for a change. He has only done somethings good because it was election time. I feel there is more that he could and can do just chooses not to. Before we know it Warren is no longer going to exist becuz everyone is going to move out of it because of all the crime.

For all of you posters and the citizens of Warren just for your future concerns " The Warren Fire Dept" does not run EMS. They are just first responders and if they were called all they could've done was apply first aid. The city was asked by the Fire union to implement EMS so the citizens of Warren would have better coverage in emergency calls. The city never implemented the program. The Fire Department has at least 10 paramedics that could run EMS. So that's where it stands.

I am saddened for Mr. Rollison to witness seeing his son like that, then to lose him. But have to know Where's Thomas Walker hiding out while all this is going on? In a commercial dryer at the laundromat?

yes I am JOKE because I have compassion for a father who just lost a son that he could never get back. This family is grieving the loss of a loved one. The father called for peace and to end the violence.

I feel sorry for the man but if this was a random shooting like they say how did he know the shooters name in my opinion that guy went there & planned on killing him.

Afert1 drugs were not envoled I can assure you that and if you knew my brother you would know that he is a awesome father and husband to his wife. You should have compassion because it is tgr right thing to do. I hope karma comes back and hits you with a brick. This father just lost his son. How would you feel if your son died in your arms? You are nothing but a judgemental pos and at least I can rest my head at night knowing that there still is compassion in this world.

Looks like Msmith is doing a 180 on what may have happened at the gas station, didn't your brother assure you Msmith that this HAD to be a random carjacking and NOT possibly a hate/revenge killing, I guess you shouldn't of jumped to conclusions huh??

Tinkerbell I agree one hundred percent with you. You got this guy who is a stone cold criminal and the police went after him. His brother was killed and you got peopel who wnat to start trouble over a guy who isn't worth the time of day. If people want to start trouble if I was the mayor I would bring the full force of the law down on them the type of enforcement that Sheriff Joe Arpaio would use.

I think all the cop job is to make sure the scene is controlled. The way cities are scared of lawsuits and possibly disease the police can't do much.

I am just floored the cop nonchalantly gets out looks at the guy and does nothing to help him. Don't they have first aid kits in their cars and are they not supposed to help until the paramedics arrive on the scene to take over? Instead I see what appears to be a bystander applying rags to the mans wounds. Just straight up inconceivable!
