Good for you Mark. That is just great. You know, what gets me is that this Prodnick kid is allowed to just walk around willy-nilly. He could have killed someone. It is time to grow up, violence is not the answer. I was shocked to hear he did this, not because he wasn't capable of being an idiot, I personally know him and know how he is, but because he is just such a wimp I didn't think he had to ability to physically hurt anyone. He has just been on a steady decline since high school, and he needs to do a few years in prison. Prison may change his attitude, maybe straighten him up. Of course, he might just become a victim of prison lovin' too...But anyways, Mark great job man, excellent humanism right there.

Caring about your fellow man is a beautiful thing, keep up the good work young man and may you receive an abundance of contributions to help out the victim! Alcohol, the legal drug, has caused and will cause you to do many things that otherwise you would not do.

I completely agree with you Citizen We're always hearing about the negetive actions of young people but this story proves not all young folks are selfish and care only about themselves.

This fine young man remembered his old friend from school and is reaching out to help him and his family. I'll gladly donate to the fund. Here's to hoping you raise a million young man !!

And let's hope the Trib will continue to cover this uplifting positive story. A little good news is great to read about for a change.

This is a wonderful action by a remarkable young man. Violence has overtaken our society and it is easy to lose hope in an entire generation based on the news alone. I am thankful for this good-news story and for the act of kindness itself...and to those who say use your fists rather than a gun I think you will see that violence is not the answer under any circumstance.
