As long as Energy is environmentally friendly, I have no problem with what you are saying. Unfortunately, Energy is not being done right, and our environment is struggling to keep us alive. Just look at the environmental disaster by BP in the Gulf for a shining example and the lies they spewed after it happened.

Duh, for the last two years we are ALREADY exporting more oil than we are importing. Of course those are only "statistics" and we can't believe in those!

I am all for smart use of energy, and looking at how we can spend less by using less to get more done. The players today want us to spend all our hard earned money to put the next tank of gas, or pay the lite bill. With Energy Efficiency, we can keep more and do more!

Dave, the oil industry has a history of destroying everything it touches and denying it is at fault. As far as energy independence. What a joke. Your industry just sells to the nation that gives the highest bid. At least be honest if you want to spew your poo. Like another on the board stated. We have no problem with the industry as long as you respect our land, our environment and our safety. Money doesn't do anything if we have no water to drink, and no safe air to breath.
