This is typical. The city cries the blues about never having enough money but yet they never pursue enforcing violations.

Just another example of Mayor Franklin's and his administration's incompetence. They doesn't even know how to collect parking fines correctly.

How does a story get written about fines owed and mismanagement of records involving the WRAP run parking enforcement system, yet WRAP and Iannucci do not get mentioned until almost the end of the article?

That would be like writing a story about 911 and not mentioning Islamic fundamentalism until the epilogue.

What a urine-poor article.... I guess Selak is a bit less connected to reality than this paper's editor and the wonderful Ray Smith.

Q. What's the difference between a flock of helpless, bumbling dodo birds and a Mahoning valley parking bureaucracy?

A. The bureaucracies are still here.

This article is a perfect example of why housing in downtown Warren will never work. Who is going to live downtown, and then hope that their car doesn't get vandalized? Let alone the parking tickets.

So Chine knows he owes the fines but doesn't pay them? How is it an "evil" at all if you aren't paying the fines? If you chose to park like that, pay the tickets.

Again, what a poorly written story... The story is mismanagement of records that cost the city a chance at collection.... Not a few private citizens owing ticket money..... I guess the rudder fell of this boat once this reporter ended up with this story.

This system is working as well as city council. Maybe better!

Another component of Iannucci Incorporated again fails.

Hey, did the city quietly renew the parking contract with WRAP without it going out for bid? Last I heard, WRAP was operating the contract under an extension while the bid process was getting underway. Or so I think I heard.

NoMore.... I don't know, dude.... I just can't laugh at folks making fun of a lady... But I do appreciate the levity.

Big deal if they can't get their license renewed!! They will just join the ranks of half of Warren drivers with no valid license and NO INSURANCE!! If they hit someone/ cause an accident it's no big deal to them. The Warren police will not arrest them. They will go on their merry way - continue to drive and the person they hit who has insurance will pay. So big deal!!

The administration doesn't want people downtown longer than two hours, lest someone sees the tarnish of corruption and failure on that shiny, happy downtown square.
