The hospital is only offering the nurses at Northside an 8 month contract, not the 2-3 yrs that the other hospitals got. This way they can take away from them now, then take more away from them next year. WHOSE ARE THE GREEDY ONES? The CEO probably needs a bigger bonus.

After this one day strike, the hospital plans to lock out the nurses. Check out the website for US Nursing Corporation. They are advertising for scab nurses at $55 per hour with up to $82.50 for overtime, free housing, and paid travel, up to 7 days duration for an Ohio job action on Sept. 24th. And by the way, the hospital is only offering an 8 month contract, no wage scale included, and personal days that the nurses froze several years ago to help the hospital during bankruptcy are not being reinstated. Those are some of the differences between what is offered the Northside nurses from those at TMH and Hillside.

nteresting that Sherrod Brown met with union officials, but not hospital officials and then proceeded to chastize teh hospital without getting thei side of the story.
