I found a wallet a while back, went out of my way to not only locate and notify the owner, (who never responded), thru acquaintances I located his mother and her place of employment and handed said wallet to her, all contents intact...the only reply was..."oh ok I'll give it to him"...wtf?

Amazing how some can make a positive into a negative in a blink of an eye.

Who cares what Burger King managers make, they applied for the job they wanted and knew the pay being offered!

IF they wanted twice the pay they should get themselves an education and apply for a higher paying jobs!

What if it was an Independent that found the purse?

builderbob, since you had to bring politics into it, it could not had been a republican that found it. They would have kept it claiming that they had worked hard for it. That is what they claim right? They worked hard off the backs of people that do the hard work.

I found a lady's purse last Christmas eve outside in a shopping cart at Wal-Mart. I immediately took it to management at the service desk. Not even for a Nano-second did I think of doing otherwise.

Now, if I saw a drug dealer drop his wad of money, its mine! :)

We need to read about these kinds of stories. They restore faith in people.

There really are more good people out there than there are bad ones. Too bad, it's mostly the bad ones that we hear about.

I would still like to believe that there are more honest and good people than not.

Yes, there are good people out there. A friend of mine left her wallet/purse thingy in the cart at the Cortland Sparkle and when she called an hour later they not only had her wallet/purse thingy but it had all her money in it as well.... Few and far between I think but they are out there.
