@FamilyGuy - your suggestion sounds biblical - tithe = 10% of your income and nothing more or nothing less. Sounds like a solid plan.

The only problem with any "real" tax code reform is what would the government do with the 90,000 IRS agents that wouldn't be needed anymore?

There he goes again! Kasich redistributing income. Less for the working middle class and more for the 2%. How brazen! Interesting to note that Trumbull is LOWER than both Columbiana and Mahoning.

We agree that the flat tax is the fairest way to go.

Make a dollar - pay a dime.

Make ten dollars, pay a buck.

No deductions. No exemptions. No loopholes for any business or individual.

There would be no more discussion about who is, or is not paying their "fair share".

And we could attrition out the corrupt IRS who has become drunk on their own power.

Im ok with it. but as commonsense says a flat tax is the best way to go. Then everyone will pay there fair share an alot of loop holes will be gone.

a consumption tax is the way to go, it saves companies and workers like me money and makes under the table workers and tax cheats, pay there fair share

Looks like FamilyGuy did a Mitt Romney flip flop. Always against higher taxes of any kind. Unless its a Republican doing the tax and spend gig. Now its the best thing since sliced bread.

At least the WORKERS are getting a tax break and the tax increase is more universal catching all the spenders - no matter whether they worked to earn their spending money or not.

All in all, a positive direction.
