and nativio i think my neighborhood is better, people accept each other and u have alot more houses for sale and empty ...we have one empty in 3 blocks and very few for sale and they do sell and not as many police or fire calls.. and nobody gets into others business.. we have a good neighborhood wonder how many others r tolerant of their neighbors and mind their own policies and procedures in their own families.. u obviously need supervised.. publicly announcing u like to get high ... what a winner u r ?!

and if wnlc wants to look into something they should look into y city fair housing ordinances are not up to speed with state and federal statutes which changed in 2008 and included all this. but of course somebody knows this cuz their story that sounded prerecorded covers this ... so somebody doesnt want the common people to know their rights.. fair housing brouchure hasnt been updated since senoir thing in the 80's .. its 2013 people .. people are desperate and far from stupid when it comes to being able to know their rights.. and city computer savvy let them watch the house on google earth govt can do it big brother watching remember ?

it not a BUSINESS ... have u asked the renters what going on mr knowitall? the renters provided a way for these guys to live.. nothing more than landlords at best.. andwho r u to say who lives where r u a king kong of a neighborhood ? or r u afraid someone will confront u and your problem? really grow up people! and quit acting like your neighborhood doesnt have issues. u want to pick and choose neighbors become a gated community really !?

I applaud Mr. Letson for his enthusiasm. Too few folks want to help others. The many folks complaining may have legitimate ones but has anyone called the cops about the marijuana smells? I'm sure Mr. Letson would allow a K-9 unit to go through the premises if he was asked. Anyway, neighborhoods traditionally, do not like change. Having new folks causes anxiety and angst among the established residents. I would bet no one even approached their new neighbors to welcome them. "Good neighborhood"? I think not.

Good. Nobody in Warren with zoning or legal better back down on this.

You can't do anything to jeopardize one of last neighborhoods in this city where people actually have a good quality of life.

If this stands, what is to stop a half-way house for sex offenders from taking over a home?

These two fellas should see about renting a floor in the Buckeye Apartments. I'm sure TMHA would have no issue with this.

letson should brush up on the ada, just because you stay buttered up 24-7 it does not fall under the ada guide lines. to fall under their guide lines you have to be deemed by a dr to be " SUBSTANCIALLY IMPARED" which means someone else has to care for you. just being the town drunk doesn't count.

Ok people .....can you not see the outcome already? I'm not a betting person, but if I was I would bet Letson will come out as the victor in this. State rep vs. community, he will pull every political favor he is owed by local judges and lawyers to continue to allow this to go on. Which bet is your horse on?

it ain;t no be open up for making $$$$$ PROFIT .a business up in the hood. so that take it out of fair housing & americans w. Disability . sober house run by biggest doper in town. letson gone off & partner up w. scamming scheming creep straight up criminal

.all the while they be collecting $$ from welfare etc. INsurance cos .dude can;t go charge rent or welfare for something he can;t rightfully be renting .they need welfare be investigating they beHinds see where our $$$ be going

Seems to me Letson has made a very well thought out argument citing the Fair Housing Act & Americans with Disabilities Act. The potential of violating Federal protection laws is enough to cause the zoning commission to rethink this.

It's outrageous that many folks are willing to define a (legal) family & marriage as broad as two homosexual men or two women but stop short at recognizing these recovering addicts as a family for the sake of occupying a structure.

Perhaps they need to compromise with Letson and create rules & by-laws for them to live by. At least giving them enough rope to hang themselves to justify exclusion...

Letson showed contempt for local zoning regulations and the concept of single family home neighborhoods and then tried to weasel out of it by citing endless Federal regulations for a local issue.

Yes, Mr. Letson, the laws apply to you also.
