Weird that it's been going on since the 70's, but no widespread stories of poisoned water. The movies against it are funded by Arabs from the Middle East. EPA just found no evidence of contamination in a recent investigation. Let's kill our economy to keep 50 local career partiers happy. lol

Anti-fracking festival? Are they going to get there in their foot powered Flintstone-mobiles? Is their PA system going to be powered by windmills? Are they going to make their hash brownies on solar powered camp stoves? NEWSFLASH! The fossil fuels that provide the power for modern life come from under the ground!

If it's an education festival, then surely there must be a showing of the "Fracknation" documentary to get the truth about fracking. And this may be news to these ostriches, but there are over 20 foreign countries that are using American developed fracking technologies to exploit their shale deposits. They securing their energy independence from the middle east cartels. We should too.

If these anti-frac Luddites want to live as cavemen, they are allowed, in a free America. Just keep your hands off of our private property and mineral rights.

FamilyGuy, Nobody is paying their "expenses" except for the people themselves, you jerk. Why is it so difficult for some of you conspiracy theorists to believe that there are still people in this country who stand up for what they believe in without being paid or financed to do it, unlike the right wing ALEC sheep?

To prove my point, check into how many real people, not corps, gave campaign money to the GOP during the last election. Far more real people contributed to the Democrats than to the GOP. Democrats individually make things happen whereas Republicans let corporations foot the bill for their candidates.
