Schools should be judged by the results.

If the public schools were meeting expectations, then this would be a moot question since there would be no need for charter schools.

Look at the results with the students, don't nit-pick line items for either public or charter schools.

There are plenty of metrics that will tell a factual tale.

ViennaResident I am not sure where you got your numbers. I did some research and no where can I find that Warren gets or spends 3 times as much per student than Mathews. Let me know where you got your numbers, I am curious.

Warren Schools receive almost 3 times the funding per student than Mathews receives. The Mathews HS Building will be 100 years old and education continues to occur there. Please explain how Mathews 3rd graders, ALL passed this year’s State tests and Warren less than 50%. There is something major missing in your logic. I’m sure you want to take more money from the rich Townships to support your failing schools. Now that’s not fair! WP can blame everyone else; just don’t look in a mirror.
