It's a fact and it has happened elsewhere as well. Another thing the profit motive companies do not want to be liable for is quake damaged caused by them. That is why they will fight and lie until they get their way.

Hagen is upset that he isn't getting any money from oil companies. When it comes time for election who ever runs against him will be heavily backed by oil companies.

It's not just earth quakes but I suspect that we will see a lot more sink holes poping up as well due to fracking.
