"none of those poor 22 year-old grads has a chance to land one of those jobs."

Yea, lots of 22 year-old grads are lining up...

Oohh... wait... stupid doesn't understand it requires about 7 years of post high school education to be qualified.

She'll lie about her education.

Shame she doesn't just spend some time getting an education.

By the way: It's not "double-dipping."

It's her money.

"Be nice if these public employees move aside so that decent jobs are available for others coming along."

Exactly. Lots of magistrate jobs out there are tied up by retiree-re-hires, so none of those poor 22 year-old grads has a chance to land one of those jobs.

That's why unemployment is so freaking high! All those retiree/re-hires snatching up the magistrate jobs.

Wasn't it Packard Electric back in the 60's that invented the notion of re-hiring retirees?

Yes! I believe it was!

"Probably not supposed to do that. But since they are both Democrat women, it is ok."

Why would a magistrate (basically a sitting judge) do something patently illegal? Obviously retire/rehire is within the rules of all 5 of Ohio's public employee retirement systems.

You pay in; you should be able to take the money out.

Stands to reason.

AND it saves the employing entity a bundle -- and that's you and me, the taxpayer.

So come on, Trib! Just because your employees don't make squat is no reason to denigrate everyone else.

"Probably not supposed to do that. But since they are both Democrat women, it is ok." The same could be said about the legitimately raped republican women. LOL

If everyone double dips when do the freshly educated College grads get opportunities that all own them to pay back their loans and support families?

Well put Vindicator. It's "news" because it stirs up hatred, envy, and contempt for public employees.

Must be a really slow day at the old scandal sheet to think that this is news. The implication is that there is something improper with retire/rehire. In fact retire/rehire is permitted by Ohio law and numerous public officials in the Mahoning Valley, as well as across Ohio have done it. I would bet that any employee of the Tribune who could retire/rehire would do so in a heartbeat. Why don't you do some real reporting and find Jimmy Hoffa's body.
