Anthony seems to be enjoying himself! Just to let you know I am planning to take a short day trip to Chicago tomorrow to visit a friend of mine from Shanghai! His son got accepted to ND and was state champion in tennis! He's trying to walk on ... I talked to coach yesterday seems they are very high on his potential in doubles! Trying to get him linked up with Fredricka! Just got done watching Michael work out with men's tennis team! These kids are amazing!

This guy failing for Sam reason as Obama

People should try to be more understanding. There's a lot of money at stake here and it takes a lot of time to decide who's brother-in-law gets to do the work for the city.

I guess I feel warm and fuzzy that the mayor is willing to take the blame for this delay fiasco in order to get everyone to move on...though this does little to address the problem.

The problem of folks heading up certain city offices who are unqualified to do their work, seemingly unable to multitask and who would, given the chance, throw his own subordinates under the bus in a heartbeat.

I hope the mayor knows that taking the bullet for this does nothing to address the real problems. What happens the next time the pooch gets mounted? Mayor, are you going to take the blame again and again for a certain someone?

Mike Keys deserves his spot there and fits in right under that bus. This episode in Warren politics deserves punishment...More so than the building inspector being insubordinate last year...

"No one is more disappointed that we haven't been able to tear down the houses that we want to," Franklin said. "If it gets us past this process, I'm willing to take responsibility for that."

You have no choice but to take the blame yourself.

You are the Mayor.

Hey WarrenMoron, maybe you should do a little fact checking before you open that droopy trap. City employees have not had a raise in 7 years.

The costs of asbestos removal is a little high, I'd say. The only thing asbestos in those homes would be ceiling tile and maybe floor tile. They could do 3 or 4 houses easily using only one small dump truck. Someone is going to make allot of big bucks for doing practically nothing. Must be someone's relative or friend on the Planning commission.

$1 million dollars would be all spent if it was for raises for the city workers and Mayor Franklin. I find his administration lacking in everything filled with people on;y there to collect a pay check and benefits. Jim Graham for mayor!
