This was never our 1.8mil to spend how we wanted to. This was money from the railroads to repurpose property they were loaned by society. Recreational infrastructure seems to work pretty well for other communities and seems fitting for these old rail lines.

That kind of money could have saver Western Reserve High, and created jobs in a building that had everything. $1.8 million to ride a bike is long past being a waste.

This trail will pay HUGE dividends

To the criminals that will lurk on the trail preying on law abiding cycling enthusiast!

It will be a haven for theft, assault, drugs, prostitution!

ArticWoof, I said people in need. not lazy. What was so hard to comprehend about that?

That money could even had went towards road and bridge repairs. Not some multi million dollar path so people can ride a freaking bicycle.

This is a great thing to have, but for Warren? The "ghetto" they cant keep the city clean and now we are to expect them to protect a bike trail. Look out Trumbull County!

So Daniel. You want to give 1.8 million to the fat welfare people who have health issues because they are too lazy to ride a bike?

"Cycling enthusiasts soon will be able to ride the majority of the Warren bike trail."

Or just about anybody who wants to get out and ride safely.

This trail will pay HUGE dividends in the promotion of an active, healthy lifestyle.

Get on a bike, and get moving!

The guard post has been "run over" by something at the entrance on Niles Rd. near Thomas Rd. Now, a car can cruise with the bicycles.

An estimated $1.8 million is being spent on the current phase of the project.

So people can ride a freaking bicycle? What? 3-4 months of the year? What a waste. How much food or medical care could have been bought for the needy? Wow, this world never ceases to amaze me.
