DEAR EDITOR: As a concerned citizen of Trumbull County, and a proud resident of Hubbard, I believe that I must speak out in strong support of County Commissioner Frank Fuda....

Frank Fuda is a good man. I do not know him personally. Back in 2010, I had an issue with the construction of a new sanitary sewer line. A neighbor was holding up the project. I decided to call on our local commissioners for help. Frank Fuda was the only one that would help us. He helped when he did not have to. He helped the situation by coming up with a plan so both sides were happy. I thank you Commissioner Frank Fuda for all of your help.

My2centsworth I am a model citizen I volunteered for something I believed in and I voted in the election. My2centsworth me and my husband both work and we are tax paying citizens. We have no criminal record so before you try to say I am not a model citizen make sure you know me and what I stand for

mssmith I'm sure you are the model citizen (sarcasim). Our elected officials need to be held accountable for their actions and their inactions.

My2centsworth then stop complaining and do something for the greater good of Trumbull county. I am getting sick and tired of people complaining but not doing nothing to change it. All some people do on here is gripe and moan but have not done anything to change it. Get out voulenteer get involved. The only way things change is if you help change it.

Well, I don't know Mr Fuda very well, since I've been either rather inactive or out of the county in the past 7 years or so.

But, I would like to know why the commissioners(as I understand ... all three), voted in an acting county engineer that, by law was not qualified ... that is, didn't have the legally required licensing from the State of Ohio.

When evidently asked about this(per newspaper article), it was said that the commissioners intimated that there was no law saying "they couldn't", which is actually in noncompliance to laws that a statutory government operates under.

This enough for me makes me wonder about all the commissioners.

It wouldn't take much to do more than Fuda. We should give the lady from Hubbard (Baumiller) thats running against him a shot. We have nothing to loose!! But I would still like to know how he got away with using his influence to get a job for his stepson at the county.

There is nothing decent about Fuda. For one thing he uses his position to benefit himself and his family. The last time I checked the Ohio Ethics Law, if you are a public official it is llegal to use the influence of your office to obtain a job for your child or step-child. Ask Fuda how his step-son got a job at the county?? Fuda should be removed from office for that! We need a commissioner that has the best interest of the county in mind! Fuda is not that person for sooo many reasons!.

Fuda was standing up for someone's individual's rights? Hahahaha!!! And he didn't delay the court consolidation... and I'm sure he took to the platform in courthouse square over the failure of CSB to protect that baby from a known pedophile. There's an individual right worthy of standing up for. Maybe the media failed to pick that story up. Yah, I'm sure that's what happened.

Frank, the word is that maybe if you weren't so busy landing county jobs for your friends, you could've actually done the things you should've been doing. How many are you up to now, Frank? 10? 20? 30? Be sure you remind these county employees that they can't support your opponents in the upcoming election. Oh, I've been meaning to ask, how many favors do you owe to the heads of TCJFS, TCHD, etc. for hiring your peeps?

This letter appears to have been dictated by Frank himself. He must have told her his "version." And really, why would he lie? Hahahaha!! To think, I almost said that with a straight

Commissioner Fuda is a decent guy. I'm glad the writer penned this letter defending him. Most of what Martha Yoder write is overwhelmingly negative so it's good someone decided to stand up to her.

She is not what I would call a "journalist," for the record.
