Government monopoly on gambling

Though government too often competes with private-sector businesses, it should not do so. And government certainly should not set itself up as a monopoly....

Oh... don't forget that gambling in churches is also a good thing if it goes for "good", things.

Same can be said about drinking. Perhaps we should deregulate that too and let the booze companies set the standards on licensing, sales and drinking and driving. Nothing like a little competition for the bad government eh?

It is interesting that something that is reportedly not good for you such as gambling is illegal. However, if it is controlled by the government then it is legal and okay to gamble.
