Cut and paste this into a Google search:

The Boards of Sunshine of Warren and Warren Redevelopment and Planning need to make their audited financial statements open to the public.

Sign the thing.

Any questions?

Oh? And speaking of Hicks, when is he going to press charges against the skip tracer pretending to be a US Marshal?

*****with these pig *******.

Got to say, had Mr. I been a capable director of the downtown redevelopment company, I wouldn't even have cared about all this Sunshine garbage.

Next step, this paper needs to delve into WRAP, their NON-EXISTENT board and the black hole of tax payer money that is that organization...

And taking care of WRAP? That is something that administration and council actually have power over...

The unpaid tax debt has been mentioned for months now at $188,000. So after all this talk, all this time, they have Paid NONE of it down? Surely the taxes due has increased in all these months. WTF?

WARREN/TRUMBULL COUNTY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS NOW!!!

Sunshine, a private not-for-profit? Maybe a quasi governmental agency but the appearance is that it operates under the auspices of Warren City as the agency has received federal and city funds. What do the City Resolutions that appropriated the funds contain as to the purpose of the funding. Were they loans or contributions? What is the motivation of the current trustees combined with the initial trustees in operating this as a private enterprise? As Attorney Gil Reiger was the incorporator, inquiry should be made of him as to what the intent for this agency was? The fact that funds were collected from land contract vendees for taxes and insurance attributes a fiduciary obligation to Sunshine and the failure to remit such funds in payment of taxes most likely constitutes multiple potentially criminal fraudulent acts. This audit needs to be a forensic, or fraud, investigation as an audit conducted by CPAs will not be worth the paper it will be printed on.

If it's ruled that Hicks is wrong, then knowingly refusing to comply with the law - and in this case freely breaking it - would certainly be grounds for disbarment, wouldn't it?

If you want Iannucci gone you need to send letters to the Sunshine Board Members. He is not a City or County Employee so contact these folks.

And which party controls the city and county? So act surprised.

The silent act by Iannucci speaks volumes, most people know it's like taking the 5th against self incrimination. Watching these antics has taught me how to dodge taxes and scrutiny in my own business dealings aside from keeping my name clear of ownership.

Believe it or not these are all lessons to be learned by up & coming business owners in Warren. You can either learn how to play ball correctly, or learn how to get away with shady activity. The City & County are setting bad examples for our youth, and we wonder where they learn their stupidity?

So a "nonprofit group created by Trumbull County and the City of Warren" is private organization not subject to open record laws? George Orwell, call your office.

I'll probably be investigated by the IRS for saying this, but the shenanigans of these government servants, bankrolled by taxpayers' dollars, is a main reason why the tea party movement exists. We're mad as h*ll and we're not going to take it anymore. Anyone who would vote to raise their taxes or would support a candidate who would even consider increased taxes, should have his head examined!

The people who bought homes and paid their property taxes should file charges against Iannucci. That way his books could be opened pending a investigation of criminal wrong doing. That way he would have no say in Sunshine's books, if all Sunshine's books are seized. He could probably charged also with embezzlement. But it looks like just another good old boys situation, cover up and protect him. I think he might of milked the cow a little too much, and it went dry. Warren, any county agency, or state agency should give out any kind of grants or loans without periodic audits, to insure where the money is going. That way things like this would not happen or would be caught right away.

This is very wrong and stinks to high heaven. Iannucci should be fired and a new director brought in to clean up Sunshine. I really suspect criminal wrong doing coverup. Why is the city and mayor defending this guy?

How is Ianucci not on a forced or voluntary leave of absence while this is being investigated in some form or another? Even if Sunshine is not breaking any law by refusing to reveal the actual ledgers and collaborating documentation, how is Ianucci and other higher ups not being booted for apparent incompetence if not something more scandalous. All I can think of in this is the Warden from Shawshank and how it worked out for him when the jig was up.
