Thank you Nomore. Well if that the case I'm sure he will appeal. Maybe that is something they should of consider in making there decision . He might just get off on all in due time. That why you need to really make the right choices when deliberating a case.

So while I can respect & agree with your comments, I must taken issue with your assessment of my thought process.

Soccer, an appellate Court can toss out part or all of a conviction, or send the defendant back for re-sentencing.

Is that your description of a discussion Abe? Are you 14yrs old playing on your mom's computer? Serious minded adults do not see discussions as either party getting crap "kicked" out of them.

Perhaps when you become an adult you'll learn the fine art of debating and discussion so as to make an effort to participate rather than cheer for folks able to do what you're not yet intelligent enough to do...

I actually agree with much of what you wrote Robin and salute your ability to make a valid argument.

I'm appalled that ANY baby was shot in the face, but you can't believe the crime was racist in origin. Those fools were out to rob & shoot anyone without regard to race and should be electrocuted!

Trayvon Martin was shot for buying skittles, tea and being black in a white area by a racist who believes most blacks are on drugs, and "get away" with everything. A white kid doing exactly as Trayvon would have made it home...

I'm raising a white son, and have had to confront black parents in his behalf because their kids thought he was a white kid they could steal from. So contrary to your beliefs I'm in a better position than anyone to recognize racism, from either end...

My question is this if anyone can answer. If he appeals. And is granted and he wins. Are all charges dismissed and he goes free?

Lets understand. There is a appeal process if the defendant wishes to go forth with it. Did he traffic in drugs? Yes that was proven. Did he delivery that drug? Yes that he never disputed he did. Was the death his fault ...I must say no. That young lady was going to do it no matter what, that was her plan. Many dirty hands in this situation all around.

One thing that upsets me is they refer to her friend as a friend. This young lady is no friend. I don't care how long she knew her. You were part of this. You never contacted her parents this was going on. You let her lay there for hours and hours and never called for help. Why because you thought of yourself not her. You were not her friend. So lets stop referring to this girl as a friend.

Perfect example you posted! You are against George Zimmerman because he is NOT black! When in fact you dont have a clue abotu those circumstances nor are you willing to acknowledge NBC news edited the 911 tape to promote racial injustice!

Perhaps you forget about the black boys that shot the white baby in the face because the mom didnt give them money for drugs? Wheres the outrage in the black community about that? Oh it white baby ... doesnt matter does it?

Again, right is right and wrong is wrong ... race has nothing to do with it!!

Perhaps it NEVER occured to you that standing with someone because of racial preference is just as racist as standing against someone for racial prejudice? Being Pro-Black is just as racist as Anti-Black!!

Race has absolutely nothing to do with right and wrong! Right is right and wrong is wrong! Because I dont buy into the always playing a race card you assume I am white? Proves what a racist you truly are!!

Geesh! Somebody always has to try and make it about race!!

The white guy was charged with involuntary manslaughter. The black guy was charged with involuntary manslaughter.

The white guy was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. The black guy was convicted of a lesser charge of reckless himicide.

The white guy pled guilty avoiding a jury trial. The black guy took his chances with a jury trial.

The white guys priors are quitting high school. The black guys priors are guilty on a series of drugs charges. Somebody please tell me again what this has to do with race and why it is soooo unfair.

I agree with Snugs. Lock up the guy it has been proven that he did what he is/was charged with so now he will have to pay for it. I have one question for him, "Was everything that you did that night worth the death of that girl and you spending a long time in jail. I believe that the next few years of you life in jail will be wasted years and you can/nor will you ever get any of those years back they are just gone forever.

What about the whole group of people who If the paramedics would of been called, than maybe this child would be alive today. The poor child laid there breathing poorly and making gurgleling noises all night, but when they couldn't wake her up thats when they called the medics. Even the father was there and didn't do anything, Im confussed. It's good for him to be going to jail but all her friends should be held accountable for there none actions as well.

Stevens killed that girl. He used a needle instead of a gun or knife. End result was death. "Fresh" deserves his sentence. Stevens deserves more than what he will get.

Mr. Patterson feels that he should not have to go to jail. He was only selling drugs. Everyone in his neighborhood does it. It should not be a crime! HE JUST DOESN'T GET IT!!!

Outstanding! It's about time people are held accountable for their bad behavior. He should've had a real job, then he wouldn't be in the position he's in now.
