Well regulated?"

What's so hard about that?

PREFATORY.

Need it spoon fed to you like everything else in your life?

Feel free to move your lips while you're reading.

" prefatory clause (“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State”) declared the amendment’s only purpose or merely announced a purpose to introduce the operative clause (“the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”)."

"Nowhere else in the Constitution does a “right” attributed to “the people” refer to anything other than an individual right. What is more, in all six other provisions of the Constitution that mention “the people,” the term unambiguously refers to all members of the political community, not an unspecified subset."

Deal with it, LITTLE LADY.

"A well-regulated militia . . . " The dismissal of "well-regulated" is not settled law. Even the Supreme Court, Republican or not, can't dismiss what was written by the founding fathers. In time, Heller will go the way of Plessy v. Ferguson, as well as Lochner, Loving, Dred Scott, and others. "A well-regulated militia . . . " The dismissal of "well-regulated" is not settled law. The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. Pp. 2–53. (a) The Amendment’s prefatory clause announces a purpose, but does not limit or expand the scope of the second part, the operative clause. The operative clause’s text and history demonstrate that it connotes an individual right to keep and bear arms. Pp. 2–22.

"I fact, liemumbler, In the latest case, 2008, the Supreme Court stated that the existing laws INCLUDEING BACKGROUND CHECKS"

You so dumb you can't read the slap that you got on your cluelessness?

Well, let me repost it for the dumb and learning impaired:

"Liemumbler has this one backwards, the main sentence is the first. "

Wrong stupid.

Go read Heller v. D.C. instead of channeling Rachale Madcow.

Again, you love showing how much you don't know

GOT IT, SIMP?

You don't know WTF you're talking about.

Now, stop wasting everyone's time with your stupid, you waste of flesh.

A crazy socialist progressive steals guns and kills 20+ in a CT school! An abortion doctor in liberal Philadelphia goes unchecked for decades and kills near a hundred babies!

Which laws and rights are liberals silent on? Which ones do they want to infringe on?

See people, your not supposed to question social progressives! They are to be believed unchallenged! Their knowledge supercedes any counter argument! Therefore, the argument should be rendered forever mute!

Let's see! Allow a 15 year old girl her reproductive to buy a morning after abortion pill after she may have been consensual with an adult who could go to prison because the girls reproductive rights didn't matter under consent, but we will ask law abiding citizens to consent to penetrating background checks that infringe on the second amendment and our privacy!

Welcome to the convoluted liberal mind! To the socialist progressives it makes sense, because? Well you know just because!
