Im sure all those jobs are legit jobs and not the work at home variety. Also I believe that all 26000 jobs exist and are not just some staffing agencies upsale/window dressings. Of course a round trip commute of 100 miles isn't excessive either. Like you Daniel I am sceptical of the work ethic of the valley. Its tough to understand why anyone would work when poverty is such a GREAT lifestyle though.

It would be nice if these numbers were even close to accurate. If 91.7% of people had jobs and made enough money to live on, we wouldn't have all these issues. That would be an A in college, B+ in highschool. This number probably represents people who are eligible for unemployment benefit claims but doesn't account for those that aren't eligible any more. The real un/underemployment number is probably more like 25%+ unfortunately. I hope it turns around for struggling folks soon.
