Leo O'Brien fell off of a ladder on a third alarm arson call at an apartment fire on Walnut St in 1936 having responded from off-duty, and died NOT within 24 hours, but more like 7-10 days later. Also one of 6 injured in the 1981 arson fire on Parkman Rd. died at age 35 and was memorialized on the front page of the WFD Annual Report of either 1985 or 1986.
