Looks like there are at least 3 pedophiles disagreeing (but afraid to speak out) on this message board. This is what's wrong in 2013, too many sympathizing with rape & molestation. No doubt growing up in a community where touching their sisters and dad & grandpa touching everyone was the norm. I think my point has been made!

The teen girl is absolutely faultless, I don't care how much you drink, how many drugs you use there should not be an expectation of rape. Some of you sound ridiculous suggesting that a female in a civilized society can not become over intoxicated and have an expectation that she won't be raped or touched inappropriately.

It's absolutely wrong, it's absolutely criminal, and it's rape! These idiot children need to learn a lesson about using their cell phones to video crime for fun. Each of those joking & making videos for fun should do jail time as well. A truly civilized society must demonstrate zero tolerance for such behavior...

They got what the deserve rape is rape. This girl should not have been out partying and getting plastered her friends testified this was not her first time getting drunk sounds to me like this girl needs to be charged with under age drinking and sent to rehab. When i was 16 i was not out drinking and partying because I knew you can't control yourself when you are drunk

It appears that the two boys are paying the price for not just their own actions but also for the transgressions of many party go-ers including the girl involved who is far from innocent.

Not excusing any actions of the defendants, but pointing out that there were a lot of other mis-behaving being swept under the rug.

If we nail these two guys, maybe the rest of the story will go away?

antdeb You are correct. I just wonder where does even a small amount of personal responsibilty come up in the conversation? She should not have been raped, BUT, she also should not have been so drunk to not remember it. Please, do not think I am saying the guys should be free, they should not. BUT, I just feel the victim, well, had a small part in becoming a victim.

And more: Sex offenders are ruined. Fliers featuring face shots go to every home and business withing a 2 mile radius of your home, that graphically explains who you are, what you did and time served. You are usually watched in any neighborhood, or not allowed there at all, because of the closeness of schools, day cares and public parks. Jobs don't want you, and to omit the truth on a job application will send you back to prison. Most sex offenders usually end up in the crime riddled, ghettos of a town. That is the only place where a land lord will take them in, as he does not care, and the neighbors will be cut from the same cloth. That is a sad situation, because of because of a poor young minded, though it would be ok decision. It lasts forever. A GED is all that is possible now, as they can not return to high school, as they would be among youths which is NOT allowed. LIVES TOTALLY CHANGED FOR GOOD.

The two boys are to dumb to play football or even Monopoly. They must have been nearly as drunk as the girl to think that having any witness to a crime would be ok. Hmmmm look what your non boozing FRIENDS told on you. The girl was probably too drunk to remember, but your so called friends did. Two dummies add up to double dumb. Blind stupidity and sincere ignorance is what the judge did not buy. Please get better young girl, as these days you are lucky to be let loose alive after ANY rape. These mismatched goons never thought exhibit A would ever show up. Remember...FOOLS NAMES AND FOOLS FACES... ALWAYS SEEN IN PUBLIC PLACES. Like the NEWS.

They aren't going to prison. They were found to be Juvenile Delinquents. They will be spending their time in a Juvenile detention center. They will be released when they are 21.

The coach that owned the home needs to be charged next? Where did these kids get the keys to his home and have access to the alcohol?

@DHSmith your comment is senseless. Even if this girl was drunk she didn't deserve to be raped, attacked, bullied and humiliated. What kind of a moron are you? Ever hear of date rape drugs? How do you know she couldn't have possibly been slipped something? Stupid idiots like you don't have a clue!!

Mays and Richmond will be credited for the time they had served before the trial. Their status as registered sex offenders will be determined by the court after their sentences are served, the judge said.

They should be REGISTERED sex offenders for LIFE. This has been so heinous, we need to set the tone for future cases.

Hopefully the female victim will seek some alcohol abuse counseling.

Hopefully the guilty pukes, spending time in prison will evolve into better human beings.

Thank you to this judge for the guilty verdict. We hope the brave young victim feels some sense of relief. She is to be commended for her courage in speaking up and taking action to expose this ugly crime. She is making a difference by saying that "rape will not be tolerated".

This abuse has got to stop.
