We want the new Pope to take decisive actions immediately to show victims worldwide that the sexual abuse of children and the cover up of abuse will not be tolerated. We hope that Pope Francis will discipline and remove bishops and cardinals who continue to protect the predator clerics rather than protecting innocent kids.

Also we urge people to judge the new pope by his actions not just his words, particularly in his first few months, don’t assume that the new guy will magically fix everything.

We hope that every single person who sees, suspects, or suffers child sex crimes in the church must report it, preferably to secular authorities and not church leaders. Silence is not an options anymore, our children deserve to be safe.
