CSB needs more improvement

March 12, 2013

In a perfect world, we would not need children’s services. We live, however, in a fallen world where evil exists. Sometimes, parents do unthinkable and unspeakable things to their own children....

He has experience in mental health not Children Services. Totally two different services. They are as different as apples to oranges.

The Director is totally void of any common sense what-so-ever. He should never have been hired. That's what happens when an agency like CSB hires someone based on education and experience only. Running CSB needs common sense and it is totally void with this Director.

I realize this has all been hashed and rehashed. I'm glad to see that there is at least a new director. The crimes against children need to stop and CSB is the only agency governing this. Quality control is needed in the HR dept. every six months to prove you deserve to keep your position...not just a "review" to get a raise. This story is disgusting but I have to wonder how many of the ones that were stopped have gone unnoticed. I'm sure some good has come from this agency. I'd like to think my tax dollars are being used for the greater good. These particular parents didn't warrant any type of visitation - supervised or otherwise. That's where the mistake was made.

This is so Trumbull County. If cell phone caused a governement run entity to be exposed, fix the problem. Make a rule that there iwll be no cell phones. Makes perfect sense...for CSB and the hapless Commisioners. Sickofcrap you are on the side of the problem. You support the system that gets children hurt. You should be Sickofcrap..that would be yourself.

sickofcrap, you should be ashamed of yourself. I wonder if this had been your child and still no justice, would you still be sick of reading about this? Yes, there are good workers at CSB, but until they get rid of executive staff, nothing will really change and another child will get hurt. It is our job as concerned citizens to keep fighting for justice for all children.Just think about what could have happened if they had not recorded it on their cellphone. Now there are no more cellphones allowed. Who are they really protecting? THEMSELVES!!!

Sickofcrap Please understand your name !PEOPLE THAT CARE FOR CHILDREN ARE THE ONES THAT IS SICK OF CRAP!Your words are troubling ,maybe if you resided in the real world you would be so outrage that changes had to be made.My understanding of a agency that remove children from a unsafe enviorment, need to be able to keep a child safe, not have to make changes after there harm.

2/3 of this is information that has been printed numerous time and is repetitive. Good for CSB on making changes so this will never happen again. Thank you for the workers that risk their lives everyday and do good for our kids. I wish people will start speaking the truth and stop being puppets for other people! FairyGodmother what is your recommendation? Wave the magic wand....smh

If there hadn't been a cell phone camera to record the rape, would they have been caught? And the response to this is to ban cellphones and cameras? It's not protecting children - it's CYA.
