That's the main republican agenda...mcconnell stated it himself,to make obama a one term president, obstruct every proposal because he's african-american,that's why these corrupt bigots have so much hatred and disdain for this man cluesless, now that people who voted him in for a 2nd term & can think for themselves see the bs the repubs are doing,we know who's preventing this country from moving forward.

"nominate the best candidates to do the job regardless of race, religion (except muslim, no muslums) or culture"

Do you think it is smart to start out by eliminating a few million people?

"When the republican party realizes that there are no longer first-class and second-class citizens of this great country and the color of a man's skin"

Hilarious and ridiculous statement. Time and agian democrats squander and abuse your money for political and personal gain in every level of government. Democrats put themselves in the first class, look and the delapitated regions they control, go to the well to do areas of those regions and they are democrat politicians. Cleveland city council splurges on personal expenses with tax payer money.

Second, liberals are the only ones I see seperating this country in terms of race earl. That is their hallmark. Tell me earl since republicans keep the black man down how come those that have it the worst are in democrat regions and districts? How come those are the ones that vote liberal every election. If what you believe were true it would be the other way around, it is not.

You but into a lie, move towards the light.

No you don't. Just expose liberals for exploiting the poor, creating more poor and keeping poor people poor. Then get rid of the rhino's (about half the party) and replace them all with true conservatives and nominate the best candidates to do the job regardless of race, religion (except muslim, no muslums) or culture.

As long as we tolerate politicians who ignore our Constitution, as long as we tolerate politicians who buy votes of special interest groups with financial or other preferential considerations, as long as we tolerate a person who does not work living as comfortably as a person who does work, as long as we tolerate a corporation that is given tax payer funds to cover losses but keeps any profits for themselves and their executives, any Non-Secular Progressive Statist will have a difficult time winning elections against the Candy Man.

Did we go over the tipping point in 2012?

If Karl Rove and company don't focus on consistent fiscal and Constitutional messages with a true factual picture of where we are heading if we don't correct our multi-TRILLION dollar spending addiction, it won't matter whatever sub class Progressives try to create to divide and conquer us, we will ALL suffer and go down together.

Great point, only a fool votes along racial lines and Ken Blackwell proves black folks actually posses an education based vote. To suggest blacks vote ignorantly along racial lines is how Republicans pacify themselves after losing so many elections and respect among Americans. Excellent point Reallytired!

"We need a two party political system."

No. We need a "no party" system or a ton of parties as a two party system creates the issue we have regarding division.

It's a lot hard to divide by zero and 87 than it is to divide by 2.

Republicans are losing because there political platform does not reflect the actual world as it exists or has existed. They are anti-science even though God gave you a brain to think and explore. They hate immigrants and always have even though we became a superpower very fast because of 'foreigners' They hate any religion other than fundamental-Christian when much of the world isn't nor ever has been.

Eliminate FREE trade and lets go back to the days of FAIR trade, start protecting OUR borders just like China does and just possibly our manufacturing will slowly return to America and once again make us a world leader and not another potential 3rd. world country

When the GOP worries more about Grover Norquist, than the citizens of this country something is wrong. They violate the oath they they took on every issue. They are suppose to look out for was best for the majority of this country, not the minority. An they talk about curbing spending, when every bill they do pass has pork barrel spending attached to it. Just look back at the fiscal cliff bill passed this last December, how many pork barrel spending things was attached. Then they preach they want to curb spending and entitlements. An there's some in the Democratic party just has guilty. Course most of them got elected under state election laws, where they can run under both party's for the same office. Good example of this is Pa., it's common practice to do that. Our elected leaders does what they think is best for themselves, not this country as a whole. We need to rid them from holding office, by voting them out of office. Then maybe this country can prosper again.

Sure this country has a high unemployment rate, but wonder why that is? NAFTA sure didn't help, but it was only the start. The WTA was the thing that really killed this country. We lost hundreds of thousands of good high paying jobs, to China, Asia and etc. Under NAFTA we got things from Mexico and Canada, which I thought was great. But under WTA all we got was broken promises, inferior products shipped into this country every day, tainted food products for our kids and even our beloved pets. We can all thank Bush and the GOP for that. All these idiots want to do is create low paying jobs, that a person has to work two of them to survive. That's why our unemployment rate is so high, and then we wonder why people are on welfare and other gov't assistance programs. The best thing our elected leaders can do is get out of the WTA. It shouldn't be that hard, China and Asia violates it practically everyday. Put huge tariffs on any products they ship into this country.

I am watching Face the Nation with Boehner (sp?) and can see where the stubborness of his comments continue to stall this situation we are facing in Congress. There is no room for any cooperation. It seems to be just my way. Shame.

We need a two party political system. Saying that, what we are experiencing now is not working. Yes, we need a reflection of diversity across the board. But we also need office holders who think for themselves and are willing to negotiate and compromise on issues. We don't need people who adhere to party dogma at all costs. (This might be applied to editorial staffing as well.)

Frankly in the last election, it was evident that the GOP needs to come away from the alternative universe in which the main players live. Look at the candidates that were going to run for President. Most of them were "out there" with their views on life and not viable candidates to mainstream voters. Give the public someone and somethings to seriously consider.

Recruiting token candidates to run under the Republican party banner is not the answer to the problems that the Republican party has created for itself. The GOP is out of step with the American people. It is their beliefs and their message that they need to change. Does Mr.Rove actually believe that the poor and downtrodden are going to buy into a program of tax cuts for the wealthy? Does he thing that Latinos will consider the Republicans votes for exclusion as acceptable if a Latino is saying it's OK. Does Mr. Rove think that women will return to the GOP so long as that party preaches that women are inferior to men.

Does anyone really think that minorities in this country are going to vote for any conservative? Ask any cashier at ANY grocery store what the percentage of shoppers are that are using welfare brenefits to make their purchase, you will find it is between 50 and 70%.Now seriously do you really think these people are going to vote for a conservative that may want them to actually work for a living? As this population of "takers" grow, we may surely be doomed as a once great nation.
